Full Time Bookkeeper/Administrative Position - Sidney, BC

Administrative/Bookkeeper Position - Sidney, BC Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (hours may be flexible) Permanent full-time position Must have vehicle NOTE: This is NOT a remote/work from home position We are a locally owned transport company looking for someone to perform all aspects of running an office including: • Bookkeeping and basic accountancy work • Answer phones and email enquiries • Attend to walk-in customers/students • Run errands (bank deposits, pick up payments) • Process payroll for employees • Issue invoices to customers • Issue cheque payments to vendors • Other business administration and managerial duties as required QUALIFICATIONS • 1+ years’ experience in bookkeeping and full cycle accounting or equivalent • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Bookkeeping (Sage) and payroll experience • Strong computer and database management skills • Attention to detail • Good organizational skills • Ability to multitask ADVANTAGES • Starting wage of $20.00-$24.00 dependent on experience • Medical and dental plan available after probation • 2 weeks vacation • Free parking space • Work in beautiful Sidney • Part of a small, friendly, and supportive team
