Controller

Allterra Construction Ltd. started in 2011 and today, together with our knowledgeable team of over 40 employees and a fleet of well-running equipment, we continue to work hard to deliver on a variety of civil construction projects. We are looking for an experienced CPA with, ideally with experience in the construction industry. The position works closely with the owners of the company and supervises/mentors our in-house finance staff. Specific duties for this position may include but are not limited to: -Financial Reporting -Internal controls -Cash management -Management accounting -Capital structure -External communications An ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - Professionally designated accountant (CPA) with 5 years of related experience - Experience in the construction industry is an asset - Strong leadership and team building skills - Detail oriented and hands-on approach is required - Strong knowledge of computer systems/development and technology initiatives is an asset This is a full-time position in an office environment offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
