$1,490 · Mature Student Looking for October Housing

Hello, my name is Olivia O'Leary. I am a 26-year-old student looking for housing in Victoria come October. I am open to living with roommates, however, I would prefer a studio or one bedroom. My ideal home would include storage for my bike, a well-maintained building, be unfurnished or only partially furnished, with a minimum one year lease, as I hope to begin my masters at the university after my undergrad is finished. My ideal location would be close to UVic, Oak Bay, Fernwood, and Cook St. Village, however, I am quite flexible with the location. I am not looking for a party house, and I would prefer not to live with people who drink frequently or smoke. I prize reliable, reciprocal and open communication with my landlords/ and or roommates. I have lived in a one-bedroom downtown for the last two years, however, I am finding the $1750/ month rent has become burdensome to my finances and I am now seeking somewhere slightly cheaper while I finish up my last year at UVic. About me: I have worked as a nanny over the last three years to two lovely children. In my sparse spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, drawing and gym-going. I am a bird-watcher. Originally from Ottawa, I moved to Victoria several years ago to begin my schooling, fell in love, and decided to plant my roots here. I do not smoke, own any pets, nor plan on owning any pets. My budget is $1490 max. I am happy to undergo a credit check, I have immaculate references from previous landlords and employers.
