Excellent condition, no chips or cracks or crazing. It is very heavy, weighs over 2 pounds. It holds 1 litre of water so filled with water it’s 4.5 lbs. beautiful mottled brown, it’s is very old, these style lids were popular in the 1920’s so perhaps that old. The tea cozy was made by a local Victoria company. The opening is far too wide (3.5”) for the hard stainless steel infusers my other ones have so I’ve included a new stainless steel mesh ball infuser. It is 1.5” across inside so it holds lots of tea leaves. I have 8 teapots listed for sale, 7 are British vintage ones and a teapot set made in Germany!
