$8 · Pottery bowl in removable cast iron stand

Studio pottery bowl in removable black cast iron stand. Cream coloured splashed design. Metal stand is attractive black cast iron (perhaps Japanese in origin?). Fits perfectly in metal stand so bowl was made to go in metal stand. I do not know the potter but the incised mark looks like a double m or two seagulls? (see photo 7). Diameter 22.2 cm (8.75 inches); height 13.5 cm (5.25 inches). No chips, cracks or other damage.
