$250 · Large Teaset Schumann BAVARIA Porcelain Empress Dresden Flowers

(30 piece set) A beautiful hand painted antique teaset, comprising set of Eleven Tea Cup & Saucer, 4 desert/salad plates 7.5" and 4 extra saucers (dessert?) Dresden Schumann Bavaria Porcelain Floral. Each set's flower arrangements are unique because of the hand crafting process used to create each piece. The cup has five flowers and leaves around its top rim. There are several lines in the Dresden line, (and in this set there are two lines but it is hard to tell them apart) this is one of the older versions because old Dresden does not have the scalloped rim, rather it's straight. It features lovely swags of pink roses, lavender flowers, and soft green leaves, with a wreath in the center. Pattern Name; Dresdner Art (Smooth). Raised lattice design around the rim (plates) and lots of gold gilt. Condition: in good used condition with some wear to the gold rim, except for one cup that has a hairline crack the rest of the set has no chips, cracks or crazing. An exquisite set of tea cups and dessert/salad plates (they could also be used as bread plates). Add to your collection or give as a generous gift to someone special.
