Responsibilities: Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints Perform installation tasks in a timely manner Projector and screen support structure installations AV rack wiring Test point to point functionality of systems Review equipment list with customer upon delivery Travel to various job sites required Use of a laptop to troubleshoot and upload/download system programming. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the customers Overtime may be required from time to time Other duties assigned as needed Skills and Abilities: Effectively and respectfully communicate with employees, customers and colleagues Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines Basic computer knowledge and understanding of IP addressing and communications. Knowledge of signal flow for audio, video and control Education and/or Experience: Minimum 2 years of audiovisual installation experience required Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required Additional Assets (not required): InfoComm CTS General Certification OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course Extron AV Associate Certification Crestron Professional Installation Certification AMX Intro to Networking for AV Professionals Requirements: Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage is paid) Able to work at heights and in confined spaces Able to work with basic handheld tools Must be able to lift 60 pounds Must be able to pass a criminal record check
