Our growing team has openings for carpenters with a strong background and skill set in all/any types of carpentry work. Candidates should possess a Red Seal Carpenter ticket and/or have more than 5 years carpentry experience. Responsibilities: -Review project drawings and blueprints -Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans -Allocate general and daily responsibilities -Provide on job guidance, mentorship and training to apprentices and labourers -be capable of concrete forming, framing, interior/exterior finishing -Communicate any resource requirement to construction manager/project managers in advance for smooth functioning of projects -Ensure all workers are following the WCB Safety rules and guidelines -Supervise the use of machinery and equipment Novus supports career development and growth and will cover the cost of job specific training for approved programs.
