I am an experienced Orton Gillingham multisensory therapeutic language and literacy tutor - helping students all across Vancouver Island since 2002. I am currently have space for a few students for summer 2022 tutoring, and I may have space available for new students on the autumn 2022 schedule. What is Orton Gillingham tutoring? The Orton Gillingham multisensory approach is explicit, logical, systematic, sequential, cumulative and importantly, is emotionally sound. No frustration - just solid progress. It is an effective way for students struggling with Specific Applied Literacy Deficit (aka Dyslexia) to acquire reading, spelling and writing skills. This intensive but gentle way of learning works.
