$45 · Summer French Immersion Tutor

Hello, I would like to offer my tutoring services. I am happy to also continue throughout the summer break. I am a French Immersion teacher. I am very familiar with the new BC curriculum. I have taught grades 2 to 8. I am looking to tutor children privately for a few hours a week via ZOOM. I am available to teach all subjects from the elementary curriculum, specializing in English lessons for younger students (I have a Masters in Education in English Second language learning) or French Immersion (BEd in French Immersion). I have graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree at McGill University in Montreal, where I specialized in Linguistics and Education. Furthermore, I have completed my Masters' degree in Education, specializing in Second Language Acquisition at Simon Fraser University. I have a Bachelor of Education from UBC specializing in French Immersion. I have also lived in France for a few months and in Quebec for five years. Classes can be focused on: - Conversational classes - Review of lessons, homework and projects - Gain and maintain your French knowledge - Reading and Writing assignments tailored to your child’s needs My rate is 40$/hour and will be doing the lessons over Zoom in order to socially distance.
