Project Drafter / Building Technologist

Ryan Hoyt Designs Inc., a progressive residential design studio in Victoria BC, specializing in Custom Home Design, is seeking an experienced Project Drafter or Building Technologist. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide conceptual design and project drafting for residential new custom home and renovation projects; 2. Liaise with Clients, Construction Team members and other Project stakeholders as necessary; 3. Coordinate, organize and prioritize projects, and be responsible for the timely delivery of design deliverables to Clients. Skills and Qualifications: 1. Drafting / technologist experience, with preference for those candidates who have worked in residential design. This is not an entry level position; 2. Experience working directly with Clients through design projects; 3. Hands-on construction experience in wood frame construction preferable; 4. Proficiency with Autodesk REVIT Architecture mandatory; 5. Diploma or Degree in Architecture or Building Technology preferred, or an equivalent level of experience. Candidate Profile: 1.
