Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done while sitting. These practices are designed to increase strength and flexibility, improve concentration, reduce stress and improve your mood. Cultivating mindfulness, relaxation and stability without the strain of getting on and off the floor! Through various yoga techniques like breathing practices, somatic movement and isometric strength exercises this 30 minute live class is sure to get results and leave you feeling refreshed. All levels and abilities are welcome! Some movements will be done out of the chair and uses chair as support. Adaptions will be offered. Please let your instructor know if you are unable to self transfer or sit/stand. Suggested props include a stable chair, ball for self massage, yoga block(s), strap.
