Each year for the past few decades I pick wild blackberries from private farms I am allowed to pick on. You can order fresh or frozen and my bags are all slightly over one pound. Retail price right now for imported product is $5 to $6 for 170 grams. My price is a steal because I'm not doing this for huge profit. I just want to cover my gas, packaging and a bit left over for profits. I have 12 seasonal customers who make wine, jam and pies and they continue to purchase every year. Last year I picked close to 500 pounds over the 6 week season. They are picked daily and some frozen on flat sheets within a few hours of picking. I DO NOT pick anywhere near areas of traffic or from fields that use chemical sprays so the are "almost completely organic". Get your order in now because I am almost completely sold out for this coming season.
