$20 · Personal Support Worker - VIC03SL

We are currently recruiting for a 40-year-old man living with a Spinal Cord Injury and Cerebral Palsy. He is currently looking for several Personal Support Workers to fill permanent part-time positions to assist him in his daily life. His goal is to put together a proverbial dream team of Personal Support Workers. Experienced workers are welcome but he is willing to train the right people. Shifts: Monday to Friday: 6:30 am to 8:30 am and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Weekends and Holidays: 8:00 am 10:00 am and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Compensation: $20.00 per hour to start *Two days a week there will be an additional 2-hour shift either assisting me at the pool (you will be in the water with me assisting me with my exercise routine so extra points if you like being in the water) or helping me with my workout routine at the gym. Morning shift details include, but is not limited to: Assist with shower All aspects of personal grooming/skincare Assist with dressing and putting on ankle-foot orthotic Assist with breakfast prep/lunch for work (bonus points if you love cooking) Laundry Evening shift details include, but is not limited to: Meal preparation Put laundry away Assist with undressing and removal of ankle-foot orthotic Light housekeeping/hazard reduction cleaning Pool shift details include, but is not limited to: Assist with dressing/undressing/drying off Accompany the client in the water and assisting with his exercise routine Requirements: Reliable Punctual Great sense of humour Flexible Willingness to learn Class 5 Drivers Licence (an asset) If you are interested in any of the above shifts and meet all the required qualifications for this position, please apply directly to this job posting.
