I am 46 years old and have Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. I require assistance with all aspects of daily living. I’m currently looking for someone to fill a few 24-hour shifts. from Tuesday 5 pm – till Wednesday 2 pm - till Thursday 2 pm. Those are the days available. I live in a house in Langford near Walmart. The pay is $18.50/hour for 20 hours (4 hours you are not paid for, classified as sleeping time). This is what the government allows me to pay. I have a power wheelchair and a ceiling track lift to help me from bed to wheelchair, so no heavy lifting is required. I use a ventilator to help me breathe through a trach. All the training you will need to help me with this will be provided. I have my own Van and a driver’s license is required. Other requirements include: Double covid vaccination (as per government), Criminal record check, First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Current TB Test (upon offer of employment). Benefits: You must work 2 shifts a week for 6 months to receive basic benefits. If you are interested in the job, contact me for more details. Thanks, Chuck
