FOR-TRADE: Your lake house for our Character Fernwood

We are looking for a lake escape to rejuvenate every now and then during summer (1x/mth? Or?) and perhaps through the fall if there's a mutual need/fit/desire? We are a family of three. Professional, emotionally healthy and respectful. We would of course treat your house as if it was ours and respect any boundaries you may have regarding your space. We mostly want to escape the city, bathe in the energy of the water, paddle, cook good food, do yoga, meditate... We have flexible work schedules and are wanting to co-create but ideally we were thinking perhaps a Thursday to Sunday type of scenario. You come enjoy the city for a weekend and we go enjoy nature at yours! Our house: 3br/1bath - 1910 character house in the Fernwood neighbourhood of beautiful Victoria, BC. This spacious 2000sqft house is very centrally located and walking distance to downtown (5 min); both neighbourhood elementary and high school (5min); daycare centers (3 min); several parks (5min); community centre (3 min) and recreation centre (7min). One the main level, you will find a bright and spacious newly painted kitchen (the kitchen opens up to a two-tiered patio, which adds a considerable amount of space to the spacious kitchen), large dining room and a comfy living room with fireplace. Also on main level, you will find two bedrooms with each a queen size bed and a newly renovated spa-inspired bathroom, complete with soaker tub, glass shower and built-in speakers to enhance your relaxation experience. On the top level is a huge master bedroom that spreads out through the entire length of the house and offers a lounge area (or an office space if best suited for your needs) in addition to decadently comfortable king size bed. Lastly, the laundry and storage space is available on the lower level, along with two rented basement suites and lovely tenants (one of them has been there for 12 years). Please note that the laundry needs to be shared with one of the basement suites only. Other than that, both suites are fully self-contained with separate entrances.
