Every person in Victoria has an Oxford Foods story. The landmark of Cook St. Village may have closed its doors, but the many tales are far from forgotten. Was it the $.39 avocados? The inner-circle of lifelong staff? The wall of sardines holding up the second story of the building? I'm sure you have your own fond memories that you share around the dinner table with relatives and loved ones. I wan't to preserve these stories. I want to bottle them up, put a discounted price tag on them and place them alongside the shopping cart of eastern European sauerkraut that we all rummaged through on our way to the checkout. Please send your memories, pictures, myths and legends to weloveoxfordfoods@outlook.com. I will be posting only the finest cuts (at reasonable prices) in future public notices. We Love Oxford Foods
