8036- Separatist Shuttle 8036 Separatist Shuttle was a set released in July 2009 as part of the Clone Wars theme. The set includes 257 Pieces and minifigures of Nute Gunray, Onaconda Farr, two Battle Droids, and a Pilot Droid. It was the first set to include a minifigure of Nute Gunray. It features mechanical movable doors, and landing gear. Sheathipede-class transport shuttle A product of Haor Chall Engineering Corporation, the Sheathipede-class shuttle was a short-range transport and escort shuttle primarily utilized to ferry passengers across a planet's surface, or between an orbiting starship and a world below. Neimoidian officials in the Trade Federation used these shuttles for transit from battleships to the surface of conquered planets, and often preferred models with automatic pilots as the absence of a cockpit allowed for increased passenger space. Viceroy Nute Gunray arrived in Theed during the Federation occupation of Naboo aboard his personal Sheathipede-class shuttle Lapiz Cutter. Nute Gunray was a Neimoidian male who served as the Viceroy of the Trade Federation and a high-ranking member of the Separatist Confederacy of Independent Systems and chairman of the Separatist Council. Gunray led the Trade Federation through its invasion of the planet Naboo. Onaconda Farr was a male Rodian politician who served in the Galactic Senate as the Senator of Rodia during the tumultuous final decades of the Galactic Republic.
