Benson Cabinetry & Millwork is currently looking for multiple machine operators to join our growing team. Our cabinetry manufacturing workers are hands on with wood, secondary wood products, large machines, small machines, and hand tools. Machinists specifically get assigned to either a one- or two-person operated machine for the duration of their shift. Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with and around cabinets, industrial machinery, and hand tools. Preference will be given to those already residing in the Greater Victoria area, although candidates from elsewhere in the Province or in Canada may be considered. If there are transferable skills, you would like us to consider, please highlight them. Work is offered Monday to Friday with the possibility of an immediate start. Part-time work and or a term of work may also be considered. The chosen candidate(s) will work safely, and within our and WCB guidelines. They will be able to stand for extended periods of time and have a demonstrated ability to lift from 50 lbs as required, repeatedly, with no range of motion restrictions or impediments to active work.
