Marine Systems Installer

Busy marine repair and yacht care facility in Sidney, BC is seeking a marine systems installer. The ideal candidate is punctual and reliable. Must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, be organized, possess attention to detail, able to work independently or assist as needed. Responsibilities: -Troubleshoot, test, repair, replace, remove, and install vessel systems and components including electronics, HVAC, plumbing & water systems (fresh, salt, and waste), hydraulic, mechanical and compressed gas - Conduct a thorough assessment prior to starting a job and upon completion - Record time and job details in project management software, assign parts to the appropriate vessel - Contribute to a positive team environment to create efficiencies, share lessons learned, and promote an atmosphere of constructive learning and development. Qualifications: - 1- 2 years experience in marine trades - Strong understanding of AC and DC electrical - Experience operating vessels and vessel systems - ABYC/ NMEA certified electronics installer (preferred not required) Willing to train from entry level so please send us your resume if you have interest in trying something new!
