Victoria Cover Band Seeking Drummer

Cover band named The Drive is in search of a new drummer. We have both a male and female singer so we are able to cover a variety of material (both older and new). All of us are capable of singing leads and backups. It would be great if you can sing too, but it’s not essential. We currently play music by Janis Joplin, Greta Van Fleet, Tragically Hip, Hole, Billy Squier, Veruca Salt, Blondie and The Black Keys (to name a few) in our set lists and we like to keep the music interesting for both the band and our audience. We have three sets of material ready and are working up a fourth. We’re all in our 40’s and 50’s.We rehearse Wednesday evenings in a dedicated space with PA, in-ear monitors and a quality four-piece kit with low-volume cymbals. Just bring your favorite sticks and earbuds and/or your favorite snare; there’s even a cooling fan just for you. We show up ready to play and run through a prepared list. We are looking for a: Strong drummer with a solid sense of time Experienced with gigging bands Open to playing a wide variety of rock covers from the 70s through to today. Able to rehearse weekly, ideally on Wednesdays (and come prepared, this is fun but we don’t want to waste one another’s time). Able to get along (play well with others)
