The Burnside Gorge Community Centre is seeking a full-time/temporary Community Recreation Coordinator for a four-month position covering a leave. The position is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some evenings and weekends required. The Community Recreation Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of new and ongoing community programs and special events for the Burnside Gorge Community Centre. This position is also responsible for the direct management of Youth Centre programs, unlicensed seasonal camps and community school programming at Tillicum School. This includes supervision, oversight of program development and implementation as well as financial responsibility for program budgets. As a member of the Management Team, the Recreation Coordinator provides input and feedback to the creation and updating of BGCA policies and procedures. The deadline to apply is September 14th.
