I am looking for a Registered Care Aide to join my fabulous care team on a part time/ casual basis. I am a lady in my early 50s with MS living downtown Victoria. I need the suitable candidate to work in my home and assist me with daily activities such as using the bathroom, bathing, washing/drying hair, cooking meals, driving me (in my car) to/from appointments, light housework, and other chores as required. The successful candidate must be able to transfer me to/from my scooter/chair/bed. Transfers require some technique and some physical strength. Training is uncomplicated and provided. Driver’s license required. Must have a criminal record check. Health Care Assistant Diploma is required. A great attitude, willingness to learn and a ‘roll up your sleeves’ style of work ethic greatly appreciated. A negative Covid test result is required or vaccination. Ability to laugh essential! $24 per hour to start, based on experience.
