Who we are: Four Paws Pet Grocery & Boutique is a growing, locally-owned pet supply store in Sidney, BC. We are proud to offer premium quality dog and cat food and a carefully curated selection of dog and cat supplies. Our store proudly sells top brands of dog & cat food including grain-free kibble, wet food, raw food, all-natural treats, and dehydrated diet products. Who you are: We are primarily looking for individuals with a warm and friendly personality as well as a strong love of pets. Other attributes: Retail Associates – Part Time – 2 positions • Self-motivated with a desire to learn • Someone who always goes above and beyond in service • Excited about helping pet owners solve pet-related problems • Passionate about pet nutrition and products with a commitment to humane, R+ based pet training • Organized and detailed with the initiative and drive to complete projects • A resourceful person who takes pride in their work and is able to work independently • Retail and pet store experience while not required will be highly valued Lead Hand/Retail Associate – Full Time – 1 position In addition to the above you also: • Have supervisory experience and are able to lead in-store training of associates • Are familiar with opening and closing duties • Experienced with social media • Able to accurately manage inventory What is required for the job: • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 20kg above your head repeatedly • Availability to work hours matching store opening times, including weekends and weekdays • Daily cleaning duties and general store maintenance • Ability to communicate clearly with customers in a friendly and professional manner • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be willing to drive the company car for deliveries.
