room is coming available at our 3 bed, ground level unit in Saanich for $900 + damage deposit (utilities, internet, laundry and parking space are included) on October 1st. The room is medium sized with a decent closet, A/C in the summer and heat in winter. Room will be unfurnished. Unit has dishwasher, washer and dryer and parking and A/C in the living room as well. The bathroom is newly renovated with a brand new counter and sink which you will be sharing with one other person. Swan lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary is a 2 min walk from the house and the Galloping Goose is a 10 min walk. Bus stop outside of house. Thrifties/London Drugs 10 minute walk. Close to uptown. The area is very accessible! The landlords live above us and are quiet and quick to respond. We are 3 people in the house currently (one couple) with a pet conure and a lovebird soon to join our home, so we cannot take additional pets at this time. We are homebodies who enjoy living in a space where we communicate and occasionally share meals, watch movies together etc. but also enjoy our down time. After a month, the couple will be moving out and another working professional will be joining the household for a total of 3 people and one pet. Some furniture will be changed in the living room at that time. ABOUT YOU: Someone who is working full-time or is in school full time, who is reliable, communicative and community oriented. All of us are doubly vaccinated in the house and would appreciate someone who is COVID conscious as well, since there are immune-compromised people living here. 6 month to 1 year tenancy would be ideal.
