Riviera Star 316 Built 1984 by Progressive Plastics in Richmond A very rare and well constructed boat. Designed as a liveaboard with a spacious 2 cabin layout. Rarely find a boat under 40 feet with this much living space. Must be seen to believe. Second owner, moving up to blue water cruiser as kids get older (and bigger!). Bought 2005 from original owners who sailed it to Mexico as retirement dream. Wife and I lived aboard very comfortably for 2 years. Major Mid-Life refit 2009 including: - any Hull & Deck blisters or delamination professionally repaired - engine rebuilt - new standing rigging and roller furling - new sails ×2 (140 genoa & full battened main) Engine: Volvo Penta MD7a with 110S Sail Drive Survey in progress: - underwater portion Sept 2020 during haulout for new bottom paint (surveyor said the hull is "Rock Solid") - above water to be surveyed as soon as I finish a short to-do list of cosmetic items, unless someone wants to buy her now just as she is - if you save me the effort, we will adjust the price accordingly and save you money !
