Shipper/Receiver

Busy food distributor in Langford is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to add to our warehouse crew. The successful applicant's duties include, but are not limited to : - accurately count, separate, document, pick and stock incoming and outgoing shipments; - operate a ride-on pallet jack, forklift and reach trucks throughout the warehouse, cooler and freezer; - general warehouse house-keeping, organization and cleaning; - loading and unloading trucks as needed; working in cold conditions (freezers and coolers) must be capable of repetitive lifting, bending and reaching to a maximum of 50lb; - work quickly and efficiently alone and as part of a team with minimal supervision; - demonstrate a willingness to learn and ability to pick up new skills quickly. Starting hourly wage is $16.50 per hour with a review after three months plus a generous benefit package is offered after six months of fulltime employment. Experience is preferred but not required.
