Bookkeeper - Part Time

Outlook Project Management Ltd is recruiting for an experienced bookkeeper to join us in a part time position. We are looking for an individual with proven experience in full cycle bookkeeping to support a medium sized business. The successful individual will be joining a group of people that works very well with in a Finance/Management team, and values excellence in all they do. As this part time position is hybrid between office and remote work, proximity to View Royal BC is a requirement, with approximately 12-14 hours per week. Expectation is to be available for time sensitive deadlines IE: Remittances, and month end, however beyond that the schedule is flexible, opportunity to work remotely as well as in house. Purpose of the services: To support the organization’s success through effective and accurate bookkeeping in the following areas: • Accounts payable (Including filing) • General journal entries as applicable • Month end reconciliation including Vendor, bank and credit card reconciliations • Government remittances (GST, WCB, Receiver General) • Data Entry Key interactions: Company’s Contracted Sage 100 Consultant and Accounting support, Administrative assistant General Manager, and Director. Key competencies required for success: • Attention to detail • Collaborative team player • Tenacity to get the job done Required experience and qualifications • Completion of a Bookkeeping or Accounting Certificate • 5-10 years full cycle bookkeeping experience • Experience with formal accounting software (e.g. SAGE 50, Quick Books) • Experience with SAGE 100* an asset • Experience in construction related bookkeeping an asset *Training with Sage 100 will be provided
