Tavane Farm is taking reservations for 2025 purebred Saanen goat kids. We are only breeding with a deposit, so if you are interested in an amazing quality milk goat kid, please reach out to secure your kid. 50% non-refundable deposit holds your kid for next spring. Although, if we don't produce the gender of the kid you ordered we will return your deposit. Super friendly and tame goat kids will make excellent dairy goats or companions. All kids are from a registered Saanen buck. One of our registered Saanen doe's produces 1 gallon of milk a day when in full production. All Tavane Farm kids are well socialized and make great pets and/or milk goats. Saanen goats bring their own unique characteristics of high milk production with lower butterfat percentage. The butterfat percentage is usually in the 3.5% range. The average milk production of a Saanen goat doe is 2545 pounds of milk per year. This breed is a good choice for children and beginners in the goat world. Saanens possess a calm temperament.
