Aster is bright and showy from September into October when it is covered with brilliant light purple bloom. Thrives in almost any soil, from dry sand to moist loam, in full sun to light shade. Plant has compact roots, will spread to about 2-3 feet, and 2-3 feet tall. Have several plants, well rooted, ~10 inches + tall. Picture is last year’s bloom in the garden.
