Barista/Ice Cream Scooper

Charlie's Ice Cream & Café is looking for a part-time barista & ice cream scooper who can work weekdays to join the team. Charlie's Ice Cream & Café is an extension of Cowichan Milk Company where our premium ice cream is sold. We are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing and eager individual to join our team on a part time basis. Experience as barista or in a customer service-based environment is preferred but not required. Assets to bring are a friendly personality, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Food Safe is an asset but not required. Duties Include: Operating the cash register, preparing coffee, scooping ice cream and cleaning and maintaining the work space area. Charlie's Ice Cream & Café is open Tuesdays-Sundays (Closed Mondays) hours will change with the seasons. Must be available to work daytime, evenings and weekends. Pay is dependent on experience.
