Gorgeous 38-string celtic harp in impeccable condition. Comes with a matching mahogany-finish music stand, soft-shell protective harp case, and many spare natural gut strings. This is an impressive instrument that looks fantastic at professional events such as weddings! I have played several brides down the aisle with it myself :) And it has a truly lovely tone -- I played all the lever harps at The Enchanted Harp in Washington before settling on this one. It plays like an angel! This instrument has 4 more strings than your typical 34-string lever harp, allowing a wider range. It is also a very unique lever harp in that it takes natural gut strings, giving it a richer concert-like sound. (Most lever harps cannot be strung with gut, but this model has been designed with lamination for additional strength.) I have loved this harp for many years, but at this stage of my life I am busy with three kids so I'm only playing occasionally, and I need a little extra financial support for my family over the holidays so it's time to say goodbye. I'm hoping to downsize to a smaller instrument so I can keep playing. If you have a student harp to trade, I would be happy to reduce the price to account for the trade-in value :) The harp stands 5'3" at its tallest point. The harp model is "PH38" in "Acajou" (mahogany finish) with a matching music stand. Please note the stand height is not adjustable. Camac is a French harp company known for high-quality professionnal-level instruments. This harp was purchased from The Enchanted Harp in Washington in 2003. There would be few of its kind available in Canada, if any. My home is smoke-free and pet-free. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. This harp has been a good friend of mine, and it's bittersweet to say goodbye!
