We are looking for a great fit, which mainly means responsible, respectful, great communication, and integrity. Our home is located on a quiet street near Tillicum and Carey. Centrally located so close to a lot, and easy to get anywhere in the city. It’s a corner house with a yard (not fenced, but surrounded by hedges, so relatively enclosed and private). The suite is an unfurnished basement 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom suite. Big windows let in lots of natural light. Approx. 1,000 sqft of living space. The bathroom is a 3 piece bathroom (walk-in shower, sink and toilet) with modern finishes. Kitchen includes fridge, large oven, 4-piece stove, microwave, large double sink, and plenty of counter + cabinet space. The main bedroom is quite big (easily fitting a queen or even king size bed + other things like a nightstand, dressers, and/or desk etc.) with a medium window and a decently sized built-in closet. The 2nd bedroom is a bit smaller but it has a very large window and there’s still enough space to fit a queen size bed + nightstand & dresser, maybe more. The living room is very big with plenty of room for furniture like couches, chairs, coffee table, TV, shelves, work desk and more. There’s a nice separate spot to put a dining table for a dining nook too. Some extra private storage space dedicated solely to the suite is available under the stairs in a walk-in cold/dry closet, and a bit of extra storage space is also available in the garage as well. Laundry is included with a washer and dryer in-suite/on-site in the garage (the garage is a shared common space, but privately accessible, and we only enter the garage once in a while, so you'd have your own private laundry to yourself as upstairs has its own laundry). Lots of free street parking on 2 quiet streets surrounding the property. Outside there is a private patio area dedicated for the suite too! The cost of renting the suite is $2,400 per month for 2 people, or $2,600 per month for 3 people. This includes ALL utilities, and wifi, so you know what you’re paying every month. Up to 2 pets - dogs and/or cats - allowed upon approval. We’re looking for a 1 year lease that will then become month to month. We’re hoping to find someone who has some parallels in lifestyle and schedule as our family to create a positive experience for everyone involved. We’re looking for long term tenants who can enjoy sharing this lovely home and property with us. We are a young family (a couple with a sweet baby girl). We’re both introverts, quiet, respectful, kind, easy going, and professional. We love quiet nights in, going for walks, board games, reading, and spending time with family. We are plant based. The space would be perfect for a quiet single professional, a couple, a pair of roommates, or possibly a couple with one child. We’re looking for maximum 2-3 occupants. It would be ideal for someone who does NOT party, smoke, or do drugs. Someone who works during the day and sleeps during the night, or who maybe works nights but outside of the home. Someone who is quiet and respectful.
