Urban Oasis – Home suite. Available January 1, 2025. Single person occupancy is $1,750, a second person additional $50/mth. If however you are able to move in January 1st, I will reduce the rent by $100 for January and February. This “home” suite includes one large bedroom, kitchen/dining area, separate den with large desk, and bathroom. The ceiling height is 2.1m (7’) and baseboard heating controlled in each room. Large windows face onto very private shared green backyard. Furnishings. The suite includes one queen bed, bedding, clothes bureau, dining table & chairs, and an office desk. Kitchen includes all necessary cooking appliances, stove, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, etc. Within the suite is a relatively large storage area. Laundry washer/dryer, and cleaning items Off-road parking is available for one medium size car. Convenient location. The location is only two blocks from Horner Park and Mt. Tolmie and only a 15-minute walk to the University of Victoria! Close by are 3 shopping plazas including 3 banks, transit bus stops, grocery stores, a Starbucks, a pharmacy, LifeLab, thrift stores, and several fast-food restaurants. Privacy. The suite has its own private walkway leading to the suite's patio entrance. The backyard includes a vegetable garden, four mature fruit trees, flowering hedge, a mature cedar tree, and Giant Sequoia tree. The urban habitat now supports at least 30 species of birds (migratory and resident).
