Reluctantly selling my baby, due to health reasons. Experience pure driving joy with this Mazda MX-5 Convertible! Lightweight, nimble, and packed with exhilarating performance, it offers a thrilling open-air driving experience. Perfect for those who crave adventure and love the road ahead. 2023 Mazda Miata MX-5 GT soft-top, in gorgeous pearl Snowflake White. Terracotta leather heated seats. A/C. Automatic transmission. While some prefer a manual transmission in these cars, many (like me) much prefer the automatic. When desired, you can leave it full auto mode, relax and enjoy your coffee, but you can also control it in a fully manual fashion when you want, with the optional manual mode with the shifter, plus paddle-shifters on the steering wheel. No more being a slave to always having to shift with a std transmission, such as in city traffic. There are many high performance car manufacturers now that don’t even offer a manual transmission anymore. A “shift” in thinking is required. Pun intended. The hardtop (RF) model of the ND Miata has blind-spots when driving, and has annoying buffeting noises when the partial top is down. With the soft-top version, you have none of that, you have a much more freeing and open driving experience, hearing the birds as you go. It’s a world of difference. The stock tires are nothing special, so I upgraded them at 5600 km to the incredible Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 ($1600), which glue the car to the road. I also opted for a slightly wider tire, 215 over the stock 205, and added H&R 9mm wheel spacers and deep-shank lug nuts from Germany ($400). This brings the wheels out a tiny bit for a nicer looking stance, and better handling. I swapped out the quiet, stock muffler for a nice Yonaka unit ($600). It is not too loud, raspy or juvenile, it just gives a nice deep tone to make it more of a real sports car experience. Transformative! It comes with the original stock muffler as well should you prefer that, and installation is super easy. The automatic version of the MX-5 does not come with the shock-tower braces for some strange reason, so I purchased them new from Mazda and installed them. ($250) I was in the sign business for 35 years, and designed, produced and installed these one-of-a-kind graphics in metallic silver and metallic copper vinyl ($750 value). If you don’t like them, they are easily removed. Optional OEM Mazda trunk cargo tray. ($140) OEM Mazda car cover included. ($270) Bose 9-speaker sound system, with speakers in the headrests! Touch screen; Back-up camera; Bluetooth; Apple CarPlay; Navigation; Blind-spot monitoring; Lane assist (can be turned off); Cruise Control; Rain-sensing wipers; Automatic headlights; Tilt & Telescopic Steering Wheel; Push button start. No accidents or repairs of any kind. This car has been treated like gold. Never driven in the rain or winter, and stored INDOORS at all times. Like new, without a mark. You will not find a nicer specimen. Oil & filter was changed at 3500 km, and again at 10,000 km using OEM filters and the best full synthetic oil, “Pennzoil Ultra Platinum”. Because these cars are so light, fuel economy is fantastic. If you’re not familiar with this car, go and watch the YouTube reviews, they will all say the same thing, that this is the funnest car on the planet – period. It just puts a huge smile on your face every time. Life is short.
