1961 Vintage Ponytail Barbie #6 The present owner purchased this doll in Dec. 1961. It is in fair condition and has been stored for the last 50+ years in a pet-free and smoke-free environment. The vintage of the doll has been identified by the following words stamped on the hip: "Barbie Pats. Pend. MCMLVIII by Mattel Inc." Original features are as follows: • Titian (Red) hair • red knit Helanca swim suit • well- preserved coral lipstick and nail colour • blue eye shadow • pearl stud earrings • red open-toe heels The stud earrings have made a small greenish discoloured area on both sides of the face; hence the "fair" condition rating. The doll does NOT come with an original box or packaging.
