A truly one of a kind item. If you're the collector that has pretty much everything then this is something very unique to add to your collection. This is the set of 11 cards used to make the 1976/77 Topps hockey card #223 (Guy Lapointe). In the 1980's The Topps Card Co. had an auction and sold older sets and cards from their warehouse and some of their individual proofs of various sports cards. This if from that auction. These proofs show the various stages used to make a card. Different colors are added in each stage, borders, etc. and finally the back of the card. Only 9 cards would fit on the scanner but there are 11 total. The first nine are shown. The 10th card looks similiar to the 9th one (bottom right) but has deeper, richer coloring. The 11th card is the completed card with the back information. The first 10 cards are all blank backed. I can send scans of those two if you like. All of the cards are in ex/mint or better condition.
