Retired professional on fixed income seeks fenced 1 BR & den home (cottage) with wood stove (wood burning FP), garden, & existence of or opportunity for an outdoor clothesline. A grower of things (containers of blueberries, strawberries, herbs & perennials), reader, crafter, birder, hiker, observer (student of history, politics, philosophy, nature, science, poetry & humour), I come with an abundance of excellent references (full disclosure - two happily provided by my senior, neutered, mostly indoor brother cats).
