Work Shift: Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Permanent Full Time) Why Work With Us: Work on a diverse range of masonry projects, craft signature designs Gain skills in conservation masonry from our team of industry experts Work in a mature and inclusive work environment Shared pride in exceptional finished products Roles and Responsibilities: Building with high competency with various masonry units and build formats for residential, commercial, and heritage builds Hitting production benchmarks and daily build targets efficiently Laying bricks and/or stone veneer and fullbed facing Build patios, garden walls and other landscape installations Lay bricks and/or stones to build or conserve residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces Remove, fabricate, and replace stone elements in heritage structures Instruct/mentor apprentices Benefits: Full-time hours and permanent employment all year around Family benefits after completion of the probationary period Tools and boots allowance Employer-sponsored educational assistance for continuous learning and career advancement Job Requirements: Min of 5 years of masonry experience Able to lift up to 50lbs Passionate about masonry craftsmanship with pride and excellence Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication (verbally and in writing) Punctuality and strong personal organization skills Maintain a strong commitment to safety, adhering to all protocols and ensuring a secure work environment Must have basic masonry tools Occasional travel to job sites outside of Victoria Valid Driver’s license Red Seal Bricklayer (401A) ticket is not required but would be an asset At Heritage Masonry, we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace.
