Meet up mornings near Fort and Cook. Purchased at a gift shop selling local handicraft arts on travels. It is very thick, I think the batting is either wool or heavy cotton flannel and it is lined with a soft thick fabric ,I don’t know what it is. It weights 1/4 pound! The outside is black and maybe a very thick cotton. The “motif” of hummingbirds and cacti is sewn on the front, it is irridescant and really beautiful. It is plain on the other side. It measures 12” wide and 9” high so it would accommodate a 6-10 cup teapot. It was never used it but to test the heat protection I put it over a teapot filled with 200F (boiling) water. After one hour it was 180F and after 2 hr it was 160F. According to the web the preferred temp for tea drinking is 120-140F so even after 2 hrs it’s still very hot and above recommended drinking temp.
