Marine Diesel Mechanic

Delta Marine Service in Sidney, BC is seeking a marine diesel mechanic. The ideal candidate is punctual and reliable. Must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, able to work independently or assist as needed. Experience with Cummins & MAN an asset, training can be provided Responsibilities: Reviewing work orders and discussing work to be performed with the direct supervisor Conduct a thorough assessment prior to starting a job Perform mechanical overhaul and repair work on diesel marine engines and related marine equipment and systems Troubleshoot and test marine engines and equipment to determine need for repairs or adjustments Record time and job details in project management software, sign out parts and bill to the correct vessel Required Experience: Third Year or Journey Man Cummins Systems Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm.
