hi there ! my name is q:) i am a 2x irish music award winner and activist . i have a master's degree in traditional irish music performance from the university of limerick , ireland . i have 16 years of experience teaching fiddle and i'm looking for new students in the new year (2025 - wow how time flies) . this would definitely suit someone who already plays the instrument (violin) as my strength is teaching repertoire as well as fiddle style to intermediate/advanced players . also open to teaching beginners , or people who haven't played in years and are wanting to pick it back up maybe:) i teach a repertoire of well-loved/cherished fiddle : traditional irish , scottish , cape breton , quebecois and old-time tunes:) i teach from a home studio in cadboro bay (victoria) . thanks for reading ! check out my website for music , as well as abstract art;) and shoot me a message if you're interested in trying out fiddle lessons ! ! wishing you all the best -q (they/them)
