Habitat Restoration Coordinator

Position Title: Habitat Restoration Coordinator Position Type: 37.5 hours per week, full-time permanent Program Area: Stewardship Habitat Acquisition Trust (HAT) is a Victoria-based land trust working with our community to protect habitat within the Capital Regional District (CRD). HAT works and stewards ecosystems as visitors in the traditional and unceded territories of the Lekwungen, W̱SÁNEĆ, SC’IȺNEW, and T'Sou-ke Nations, Nations who have lived in relationship with and stewarded these lands since time immemorial and continue to live in relationship to the Land today. Our mission is to conserve natural spaces on southern Vancouver Island and the southern Gulf Islands through land acquisition, legal protection of private land, restoration, education, and stewardship programs. We work closely with community groups, government, individual landowners, and indigenous communities to coordinate effective habitat conservation projects.
