Busy lives make it a challenge to find the time to home bake as often as often as we would like. Quick breads are a versatile option to yeast breads that do not require the time of preparation in making yeast breads. Participants will join this 2hr. workshop to learn how to master the types of home made quick breads by understanding mixing methods, leavening agents, sweet and savoury options and how to store baked quick breads. The workshop demonstration will include tips and techniques on preparing each of the 4 types of quick breads, adding herbs and other variations and using bake ware and utensils. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to: Compare and observe the process of each type of quick bread & Sample quick bread products Thursday May 2nd, 6:30PM - 8:30PM *Take home a fresh herb, and spatula and the workshop recipes to home bake a delicious quick bread.
