We have two fully furnished rooms available January in a beautiful 110+ year-old shared character house near the Gorge waterway. Preference will be given to longer-term (one-year) leases. YOU: A serious student or quiet young professional looking for a peaceful, environmentally friendly living space. Non-smoker, no pets. YOU WANT: A great place to live that you share with other easygoing housemates. Fixed rental costs that don't change when housemates move in or out. A clean, tidy place to live (while you must clean up after yourself to help keep it tidy, we have a housekeeper that DOES clean the common areas weekly). YOUR NEW HOME: A beautiful, shared character house. This is a NO-parties, NO-smoking house. Fully furnished. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Two full bathrooms, one on the main and one upstairs. Living room with leather furniture, flat screen TV and Blu-Ray player. Laundry downstairs. Wi-Fi provided. YOUR ROOM: All rooms are above-ground (no dark basement rooms here!). Room #1 is on the main floor, all other rooms are upstairs. All rooms are fully furnished with comfortable beds, roomy dressers, desks, an office chair and a reading lamp. Even the bedding can be provided, although you can bring your own if you prefer. The #8 bus takes you to Camosun College, Lansdowne or Interurban campus. The #9 bus takes you to Camosun Lansdowne and UVic. Near Gorge Park and the Galloping Goose bike trail. (Parking onsite is available for bicycles only - car parking is on the side street around the corner.) This is NOT a good location for Royal Roads students unless you have a car. AVAILABILITY: Room #2 is available January 1st and is $950 per month. Room #4 is available January 4th and is $1,070 per month. Room rates are based on room sizes, and include: all utilities (heat, hydro, water), Wi-Fi, laundry, and once weekly housekeeping in common areas. Rates are fixed so no surprises.
