Note: Westfalias like this do not depreciate! This meticulously maintained ultra low mileage (146,000 km) Westfalia GL has had only two other owners. It was garage kept and not driven in the winter and the paint looks like new. Being a GL, it has power locks (keyless entry added), power windows and power heated mirrors. It is in very close to perfect condition and turns heads and draws compliments wherever it goes. This is our 6th Westfalia and one of the very best we’ve seen, with the lowest mileage—certainly the best we’ve owned—but we are seniors and have come to the reluctant conclusion that our camping days are largely behind us. The interior is in perfect condition. It has all the original screens (including the large one covering the rear hatch) and all original curtains. What has been added is: * LED interior lights * Viper 211 HV keyless entry system, * Propex HS 2000 furnace with thermostat, * GoWesty aux battery kit, * front bra (includes front bumper),steering wheel wrap, * high power headlight kit with 2 Bosch halogen driving lights, updated turn signal lenses * Bilstein HD shocks, front and rear, * 16” GoWesty wheels to fit contemporary tire sizes, * 2” hitch for bike rack and wiring for trailer, * 2” mattress toppers for both upper and lower beds, * luggage rack cargo bag and custom rubber retaining net for it, * GoWesty automatic transaxle fluid cooler, * dash cover with dual VDO instrument cluster replacing the ashtray in the centre. Importantly, we also had the Go-Westy EFI kit installed with the recommended new wiring harness and the scan gauge which has an informative and customizable readout just above the steering wheel hub. The EFI kit brings this worthy 2.1 litre engine into the 21st century and improves engine performance with a little more power and better fuel economy and replaces certain components (which are no longer available from VW) with equivalent parts that are, for the foreseeable future - like fuel injectors.
