16 foot Chestnut Prospector. Serial Number 104 from the early 1960s. Completely refurbished in 2022, used once since. After stripping old canvas, all necessary wood repairs carried out. All new canvas over planking refinished with three coats of RobsonRT-10 sealant, four coats of red enamel and four coats of carnuba based wax. Interior stripped and revarnished with 4 coats. All new brass screws used for chines and bow and stern aluminum bump strips then finished with white enamel. New brass fittings at bow and stern and midships for tie down of bailing pot and dry bag. Cane seat completely restrung. Finished weight approx 74 pounds. Comes with all essential accessories: two paddles (Voyageur 58s by Grey Owl Paddle Co of Canada) two life jackets, dry bag, heaving line, bailing bucket, heaving line and two kneeling pads.
