A double mattress is 54” wide, a queen is 60” wide. All duvets and covers are different sizes in measurements even though they’re labelled as double, queen or king. The only consistently the same measurement is a mattress! The photos show it on a queen bed which has a hang down of about 11” on each side, a double bed would have about 14” hanging down on each side. Your duvet cover would be a different size so it would depend on that as well. It is very rare to find a duvet and a cover the exact same size in measurements! The 100% cotton cover is manufactured in China, but it has been filled and finished in Canada. The label doesn’t state the percentage of down and feather, On the BeautyRest website it states most of the duvets are 75% white down and 25% feather. I can’t feel any feather at all, so maybe it’s 80% or 90% down (common). I don’t know, I only feel down! It weighs 6 pounds so a nice medium winter weight, freshly laundered and has no stains smells or damage of any sort. Well constructed to last for years. Piping on all four sides for strength and appearance. Nonsmoking non pet single adult home, it’s always been in a duvet cover and was on a guest bed for a few years so it’s not had a lot of use. It’s about 4 yrs old and only on a bed during winter, Snowy white! It can be washed in the washer in warm or hot water and goes in the dryer, takes a while to dry but if it’s in a cover maybe only once a year or so needing washing.
