Offered for sale this vintage framed oil painting on canvas, signed in the lower left hand corner by Canadian artist Ruby Hoskins (1909-2004). This wonderful floral study featuring poppies and daisies is in nice condition, and well executed by the late Smithers, British Columbia resident. The frame measuring approximately 26.25 inches in height x 21 inches in width appears to be the original period frame, it does so some signs or age related wear, minor paint chipping / scratches. The vintage painting presents well and is ready to hang, it could use a cleaning, to really make the colours pop.
