Undated. Circa 1902 or so. Large red half leatherbound hardcover. Very good condition with some general wear overall. Hand marbled end pages, gold gilt to the text block, and secure binding with raised hubs on the spine. Gold floral design and stamping on the cover and spine are striking and beautiful. Heavily illustrated with multiple colors and gold printing used throughout. Complete with many tissue guards and photos as well. This deluxe edition is exceptionally difficult to find as it was specially prepared for subscriptions and not attainable through any general booksellers. I could not find another one for comparison.
